QUETTA, March 14: Nationalist leader and MPA Nawabzada Balach Khan Marri has said that news of the arrest of his father Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri in Karachi was correct, but it would not affect Baloch people’s struggle.
He was talking to Dawn over satellite phone on Tuesday.
He said that a heavy contingent of law-enforcement personnel had cordoned off the Mengal House in the Defence area in Karachi and arrested his father who was staying there.
He said: “The arrest of Nawab Marri will strengthen our struggle,” Mr Balach said.
