KARACHI: Road projects in Gulshan

KARACHI, March 14: The Nazim of Gulshan-i-Iqbal Town, Wasay Jalil, on Tuesday inaugurated the reconstruction of all streets and the main road of Gulistan-i-Jauhar, blocks 7 and 14.

The project including reconstruction of 159,700 sq-ft of streets in Block 7 at a cost of Rs5.68 million and 332,200 sq-ft of streets in Block 14 at a cost of Rs11.079 million would be completed in two months.

The town nazim said the reconstruction of roads would improve the flow of vehicular traffic and reduce its rush. He directed concerned officials to ensure the use of quality material and early completion of work.

The town’s Naib Nazim, Shoaib Akhtar, TMO Matanat Ali Khan, TO Shafiqur Rehman, DTO Mubin Siddiqui and area notables were present.—PPI
