ISLAMABAD, March 11: Shuttlers Rizwan Azam and Sara Khan were to leave on Saturday for Germany to attend a world training course being organised by the International Badminton Federation.

The Pakistan Badminton Federation (PBF) chose the two players for the month-long course at Sarbruchen on the basis of their performances at the national and international levels.

Rizwan is a former under-19 champion while Sara is the current holder of that crown on the girls’ side.

The course is for players of under-developed countries and aims at training them for the 2008 Olympic Games.
