LAHORE, March 10: Half-century by Razia Malik and fine bowling by Sabahat Rasheed helped Lahore Region beat Peshawar Region by nine wickets in the 2nd National women cricket championship at the GCU ground on Friday.
Razia struck 72-ball 52 with nine boundaries. She was the only wicket that Lahore lost before reaching their target.
Opener Taskeen Qadeer also played a fine unbeaten knock of 36 runs with two fours.
Sabahat gave away only 26 runs in 10 overs and claimed three wickets as Peshawar were all out for 99 in 42 overs.
Shamsha Hashmi 2-14 and Sana Razzaq 2-12 were other wicket takers.
