QUETTA, March 4: The Pakistan Football Federation announced names of 62 probables for the final training camp to select two Pakistani U-14 teams. Current national U-14 champion Punjab have major share in the camp with 24 players.

The camp earlier comprised 101 players with 22 players selected from open trials and 79 players selected after the second national U-14 football festival.

The camp, under coaches Hafiz Anis Javaid, Gohar Zaman and Shahzad Anwar, is in progress at the Lahore’s Punjab Stadium.

The coaches axed 39 players to finalise the list of 62 players.

The selected players will become part of two Pakistan U-14 teams for the Group-C (South) of AFC U-14 football festival, slated to run from April 21-27.

Being the host, PFF will be allowed to field two teams, Pakistan and Pakistan ‘A’.

Other teams will be from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Nepal.
