APC convened by ARD to be held today
ISLAMABAD, Feb 25: an All Party Conference (APC) will be held here on Sunday under the aegis of the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy.
Besides discussing the overall political situation of the country, public protest over publication of blasphemous caricatures in some European newspapers and government response over the issue, the APC will also discuss modalities of launching a joint movement against the government.
With the leaders of ARD component parties, those of the Muttahida Majlis-Amal, the Pakistan Oppressed Nations’ Movement (PONM) and other opposition parties will attend the conference.
The ARD has not invited the ruling Pakistan Muslim League and its coalition partners.
