KARACHI: Pir Pagara’s condition improves

KARACHI, Feb 20: The doctors attending PML-F leader Pir Pagara have described his condition satisfactory, but advised him rest, according to a spokesman for the Kingri House.

Pir Pagara, who is the spiritual leader of the Hur Jamaat, had been admitted to the Aga Khan Hospital on Saturday night after he complained of asthma. He was kep in the ICU for some time before the doctors declared his condition satisfactory.

Although Pir Pagara has been shifted from the ICU, he was staying in the hospital for some tests. The spokesman said he would hopefully be shifted to his residence, the Kingri House, in a day or two.

Meanwhile, a number of political leaders, including Waseem Akhtar of the MQM, Nisar Ahmad Khuhro of PPP, MNA Bashir Ahmad Shah, Imtiaz Ahmad Shaikh and Jam Madad Ali, as well as the Pir’s well-wishers, visited him in the hospital and inquired about his health. PPP Chief Makhdoom Amin Faheem sent a bouquet with good wishes to him.
