Hockey team for India

LAHORE, Feb 14: A 20-member Pakistan hockey team will leave for India via Wagah border on Wednesday to play the first leg of three matches in Chandigarh and Jalandhar till Feb 20.

The first two matches will be played in Chandigarh, under floodlights on Feb 17 and 18 while the third in Jalandhar on Feb 20.

The second leg of three matches will be held in Pakistan from Feb 22 to 26. The first will be played in Rawalpindi on Feb 22, second in Faisalabad on Feb 24 and last in Lahore on Feb 26.

Mohammad Saqlain is leading the team while Mudassar Ali Khan is his deputy.

Team: Goal-keepers: Salman Akbar, Nasir Ahmed. Fullbacks: Zeeshan Ashraf, Muhammad Imran, Imran Warsi. Halfbacks: Imran Khan, Muhammad Saqlain, Dilawar, Adnan Maqsood, Sajjad Anwar. Forwards: Rehan Butt, Mudassar Ali Khan, Shakeel Abbasi, Tariq Aziz, Shabbir Hussain, Adnan Zakir, Mudassar Khan, Waqas Sharif, Shabbir Khan, Muhammad Zubair.
