Squad named for Tehran

LAHORE, Feb 12: Pakistan announced a seven-member wrestling team which would compete in the Takhti Cup to be held in Tehran from Feb 22 to 24.

The team was announced at the end of two-day trials held at the National Sports Training and Coaching Centre on Saturday and Sunday.

Six reserve grapplers have also been named.

Squad:

55kgs: Azhar Hussain (Army).

60kgs: Robin Singh (Wapda).

66kgs: Muhammad Ali Junior (Wapda).

74kgs: Muhammad Ali Senior (Wapda).

84kgs: Sayab Khan (Wapda). 9

6kgs: Usman Majeed (Wapda).

120kgs: Bashir Bhola Bhala (Wapda).

Reserves: Muhammad Amir (Army), Farooq Ahmad (Army), Zahid Khan (Wapda), Abdur Rehman (Wapda), Khawaja Hasnain (HEC), Mohammad Azam (Army).
