SHEIKHUPURA, Feb 3: Mangtanwala police killed three dacoits, including a proclaimed offender, in an encounter at Dhudian village, some 30kms from here on Friday.
The police received information that PO Sadi Wattoo was present in the village. As the police raiding party reached there, the accused opened fire on them.
The police also returned the fire leaving dead three dacoits, including PO Sadi Wattoo, on the spot. As of now the identity of the other two accused could not be known. Nankana DPO Zulfiqar Hamid said that the deceased PO was wanted to police in several cases of dacoity, murder and other heinous crime.—APP
