Edmistone breaks world mark
MELBOURNE, Jan 30: Jade Edmistone broke the 50-metre breaststroke world record in the heats of Australia’s Commonwealth Games selection swimming trials on Monday. Edmistone clocked 30.31 seconds, slicing 0.14sec off her previous best set in winning the world championship in Montreal last year.—AFP
