Pakistan to host U-18 Asia Cup

LAHORE, Jan 25: Pakistan will host the Asia Cup U-18 women’s hockey to be held at Hockey Club of Pakistan, Karachi from Feb 23 to 26. Besides Pakistan the other countries which confirmed their participation are India, Malaysia and Tajikistan.

Trials to select the Pakistan team will be held in two phases.

To pick probables from Punjab and NWFP the trials will be held at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore on Jan 28.

Trial for Sindh and Balochistan probables will be held at Hockey Club of Pakistan, Karachi on Jan 30 and 31. After the trials the camp will start at Karachi from Feb 1. Shaista Javaid is named camp commandant.
