ISLAMABAD, Jan 23: Senator Latif Khosa, the lawyer of Benazir Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari, said that there was no possibility of the arrest of Ms Bhutto and her husband through Interpol.

Talking to a private TV channel on Monday, Mr Khosa said that cases against Benazir Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari were of a local type and arrest warrants were issued through Interpol only in cases that affected states and international laws.

Information Minister Shaikh Rashid told a private TV channel that this could be the report of a newspaper and he did not want to comment on it.—Online
