ARD wins Kasur seat

KASUR, Jan 19: M. Jamil Khan of the ARD defeated Chaudhry Khushi Muhammad of the PML in the elections for Kasur tehsil naib nazim seat. While for the Chunian tehsil naib nazim seat, PML’s Asghar Ali Mitho succeeded against ARD’s Zafar Iqbal. According to unofficial results, M. Jamil Khan secured 43 votes while his opponent Chaudhry Khushi Muhammad grabbed 36 votes.

Similarly, Asghar Ali Mitho bagged 24 votes and his rival candidate Zafar Iqbal got 12 votes. — Correspondent
