BHA office-bearers

LAHORE, Jan 17: Lt. Gen (retd) Qadir Baloch and Qaiser Khan Luni have been unanimously elected as president and secretary of Balochistan Hockey Association (BHA) for a term of four years. Governor Balochistan Awais Ghani will be the patron-in- chief of the BHA.

According to a PHF spokesman the elections were conducted by Prof. Fazal-e-Bari.

Both president and secretary with Mohammad Shafique (Gawader) will represent BHA at the PHF Council while Ali Ahmad Baloch, A Pervez, Farooq Ahmad, Muhmmad Shafique, Naeem Akhtar and Saleem Akhtar will represent BHA in the PHF Congress.

Meanwhile, the new body has nominated S. A. Ghani as chairman of Balochistan Umpires Committee while Syed Naeem Akhtar will be the in-charge for the development of the game in the province.

Office-bearers: (Patron-in-chief) Awais Ghani, (president), Qadir Baloch, (vice-presidents) Farooq Ahmad, Dr Jamal Marri, (secretary) Qaiser Khan Luni, (associate secretary) Syed Saleem Akhtar, (joint secretary) Mir Ali Ahmad Baloch, (finance secretary), Amjad Pervaiz, (executive body) Mohammad Shafique (Gawader) Abdul Ghaffar Mengal (Khuzdar), Mujahid Butt, Naeem Akhtar, Habib Ullah (Pashin), Haji Zulfiqar, Ashraf Bangulzai, Syed Baqar, Hussain Takri, Arbab Iqbal.
