HYDERABAD: Canal closure announced

HYDERABAD, Dec 5: The superintending engineer of the Pinyari irrigation circle has announced four-month closure of the Old Fulleli and Pinyari Feeder Lower. The system channels, including Pinyari and Darro branches, will be closed from December 15, 2005 to March 15, 2006 due to execution of essential revamping and rehabilitation works.

The official advised to all departments concerned and authorities to make necessary arrangements including filling depressions, ponds and water tanks for drinking purpose of human beings and livestock, domestic and industrial uses.—APP
