Published December 3, 2005

MULTAN, Dec 2: The Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) authorities announced that they have decided to hold first annual BA/BSc examinations in May next, earlier than the previous annual examinations, to make more options available for students for post-graduate studies.

The decision was taken to ensure that the results were declared by August and students could get admissions to wherever they wanted (for post-graduate studies), said an official release issued here on Friday.

The decision would solve problem of the students as earlier they were unable to apply for admission to certain universities where admissions for post-graduate classes used to conclude before declaration of results by the BZU.

The authorities also announced that the admission schedule for the examinations would be issued in the second or third week of the current month.—APP
