Snooker: Faisal extends Asim

KARACHI, Nov 25: Asim Ghani was extended to full distance by Faisal Lakhani before he carved out a 3-2 win to reach the pre-quarterfinal round of Karachi Club Snooker Challenge at Amir Bakhsh Billiards Hall on Friday.

Asim took the opening two frames but Faisal halted his march when he tied the match grabbing the next two. However, Asim clinched the decider 70-26 to wrap up the match.

Anil Bherwani also made it to last-16 stage. He dropped the second frame before recording a 3-1 win against Shareel Arif.
