26 ties decided on second day

ISLAMABAD, Nov 20: Twenty-six matches were played on the second day of the NBP National junior badminton championship at Rodham Hall, Pakistan Sports Complex on Sunday.

More than 150 boys and girls from the Punjab, Sindh, NWFP/Fata, Balochistan, Islamabad, KPT, Railways, Wapda and National Bank are participating in the event, which features boys’ under-16, 19, singles’ and doubles’, girls’ U-16, 19, singles’ and doubles’.

Twenty-seven matches in the morning and 35 in the evening were played on the first day.

Girls U-16 singles’: Aqsa Razak bt Arifa 11-1, 11-2, Sofia bt Sidra 11-2, 11-4, Bisma bt Sana 11-1, 11-2, Amber Aslam bt Natasha 11-7, 3-11, 11-1, Anam Bilal bt Rida 11-2, 13-11, Marukh bt Maria Aslam 11-2, 11-1, Sania bt Mehwish 1-11, 11-6, 11-7.
