Athletics course commences

ISLAMABAD, Nov 18: A country-wide Level-I coaching course for athletics got under way at Pakistan Sports Complex on Friday. The course, scheduled to conclude on Nov 30, is aimed at producing maximum number of athletics coaches in the country.

The Athletics Federation of Pakistan, which has arranged the course in collaboration with Pakistan Sports Board, plans to hold similar courses at Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta also.

The qualified coaches of this course will be eligible to attend the National Level-II course and also participate in the International Amateur Athletics Federation (IAAF)-approved Level-I course.—APP
