13 killed as pick-up falls into ravine

HANGU, Nov 14: At least 13 people were killed and seven others wounded when a pick-up fell into a deep ravine in the Orakzai Agency on Monday. The agency’s political authorities said that the accident took place near Mazara, some 100km north of Hangu district.

The pick-up truck was going from Anjani to Wachpul area when the vehicle got out of the control of the driver and fell into the ravine.

The 13 passengers travelling in the truck died on the spot while seven others suffered serious injuries.
