Faisalabad ready to host second Test

By Our Staff Correspondent

FAISALABAD, Nov 14: All the arrangements have been finalized to organize the second cricket Test between England and Pakistan from Nov 20 in a befitting manner at Iqbal Stadium.

A meeting to oversee the arrangements was held on Monday which reviewed security plan, ground arrangements, pitch preparation, media arrangements and other allied matters besides taking necessary decisions where required.

During the meeting it was confirmed that foolproof security arrangements would be made for the match for ensuring the security of teams and spectators.

He said that it was for the first time that security vigilance would be exercised in a stadium with the help of cameras.

As many as 30 cameras would be installed in the ground, stadium and the surrounding areas.

Each camera would record the activities in its range which would be monitored through the Central Control Room.

This recording would also involve audio recording facility.

The ground and wicket were ready which had been duly inspected by the PCB officials.
