Trials for women’s Asia Cup

KARACHI, Nov 14: Two-day open trials to select players from Sindh and Balochistan region for the Dec 28-Jan 3 inaugural women’s Asia Cup would be held at National Stadium from Nov 18, a spokesman for Pakistan Cricket Board announced on Monday.

Interested players are advised to report at NSK at 1.00 pm on Friday in proper cricket attire.

A three-member committee with former Pakistan captain Imtiaz Ahmed at its head and members Javed Zaman and Shams Hashmi will conduct the trials.

Besides hosts Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will take part in the event.—APP
