LAHORE, Nov 14: The West Indies Under-19 team will tour Pakistan from Jan 17 to 31 next year to play five One-day matches series against their Pakistan counterpart. Pakistan Cricket Board director cricket operations, Saleem Altaf told reporters that all the matches would be played in Karachi.
“All the matches have been allotted to Karachi because the Indian team will be playing in Punjab province during these dates,” the director said.
He said that the West Indies team is touring Pakistan as part of preparations for the next Junior World Cup to be held in Sri Lanka next year.
The tour would also help Pakistan U-19 team to hone their skills for the World Cup, he added.
