2,500 villages to get power

QUETTA, Nov 14: The Quetta Electric Supply Company (Qesco) plans to provide electricity to 2,500 villages in the next two years, whereas the target for the current financial year is 1,600 villages. Speaking at Qesco’s open forum on Monday, Qesco provincial chief executive said that the company would do its utmost to curb power theft. He said that Rs 5.5 billion were outstanding against consumers.
