Teams score identical wins

KARACHI, Oct 23: A.O. Blues and Tapal CC scored identical victories by a margin of five wickets each in the Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan cricket tournament at the AKG Ground on Sunday.

A.O. Blues emerged winners against Faraz Industries by scoring 118 for five in the 18th over.

Earlier, Iftikhar hammered three sixes and four fours in making 60 but his team failed to put up a competitive total on the board.

Muzaffar grabbed three wickets for only four runs in two overs.

Tapal CC, meanwhile, won a low-scoring tie after dismissing Omar CC for a paltry 82.

Tapal CC beat Omar CC by five wickets.

OMAR CC 82 in 19.3 overs (Najeebullah 22; Mansoor Khan 3-14, Asad Butt 2-5, Haris Ayaz 2-17, Tariq Haroon 2-18); TAPAL CC 85-5 in 15.2 overs (Tariq Ahmed 2-13, Saeed Khan 2-25).
