Robbers injure trader

GUJRANWALA, Oct 14: Armed bandits injured a trader on resistance and deprived three industrialists of their cash, mobile phones and motorcycles in four different strikes in and around the city here on Friday.

Reports said that Rana Inam Elahi was on his way to factory after withdrawing Rs435,000 from a bank. Near Street No 13 of a Faisalabad locality, five outlaws riding on two motorcycles intercepted him. They snatched from him cash, a cell phone and also took away his bike (GAS-3125).

A trade company supervisor, Kaleemullah, was on his way to Satellite Town when two robbers intercepted him near a high school. They snatched Rs150,000 in cash, a mobile phone and other valuables and escaped.

A trader was shot at and injured on resistance by two outlaws on Rata Road. Faizanullah Bhatti was present in his shop when bandits came there and tried to loot him. The intruders opened fire on him for offering resistance and escaped when he fell down on the ground.

The wife of Tanvir Ahmad Khan was relieved of her cash and jewellery worth Rs100,000 by two outlaws on Deputy Commissioner Road.
