Jam Yousuf announces Rs10m aid

QUETTA, Oct 9: Chief Minister Jam Yousuf has announced to donate Rs10 million for the relief operation in the quake-hit areas of the NWFP, Punjab and the Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement issued here Saturday night the chief minister expressed his grief and sorrow over the deaths and injuries.

He said that relief goods and more funds would be despatched for the affected people.

DEATH PENALTY: Additional Sessions Judge, Sibi, Tahira Baloch on Saturday awarded capital punishment to two brothers in a murder case.

The court awarded death penalty to Ghulam Mohammad and Khan Mohammad as the prosecution proved that they had killed their business partner Saleh Mohammad in Bolan area.

EXPLOSION: Two children were killed and another injured in an explosion in Panjgur area, some 500km south-east of Quetta, late Saturday evening.

Three boys were playing outside their home in Haji Ghazi Union council area during which a powerful explosion took place near them, killing two boys and injuring another.

The boys were identified as Nasim (7) and Changez (7). The third boy, Faraz, was injured who has been admitted to a hospital.
