GUJRANWALA, Oct 5: An activist of the defunct Sipaha-i-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) was killed by his alleged rivals at his Rasulnagar village on late Tuesday night. Reports said SSP former tehsil president Muhammad Akram Baloch was on his way home when the accused took him to some deserted place and clubbed him to death.
Police have sent his body to Wazirabad THQ hospital for autopsy.
It is stated that a woman, ‘S’, was running a brothel in the locality and he forbade her from the practice.
Police have registered a case.
SLAUGHTERED: A man was slaughtered by unidentified assailants in civil lines here on Wednesday.
Reports said Riaz Ahmad of Dhulley was on his way home from Satellite town. Near civil lines, the accused intercepted him and slit his throat. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
