JACOBABAD, Oct 3: Sardar Ganj Bux Buriro, who was kidnapped by armed men on Wednesday along with four others, returned home safely on Monday. DPO Munir Khuhro said Sardar Ganj Bux and five others had been recovered from the Chatar area of Balochistan.

He said they were released by the dacoits after intervention of Sardars and police.

Mr Khuhro claimed they did not pay any ransom.

Ganj Bux Sardar and five others were kidnapped from Noutal Balochistan six days ago.

Sardar Buriro reached Mirpur Buriro where several Sardars and influential of the area accorded him welcome.

Talking to the newsmen, he said his release was due to the efforts of Sardars while Balochistan police did not play any role in his release.

He said that he had not paid any ransom money.

He said Nawab Akbar Bugti, Ellahi Bux Soomro, Mir Zafarullah Jamali, Aijaz Jakhrani, Sardar Muqeem Khoso and Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind played important role in his release.
