KARACHI, Sept 25: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) women’s wing has once again revised the draws of ongoing 21st National women’s hockey championship. Tournament director, Ms Shaista Javaid, told Dawn on Saturday that the championship was curtailed by two days with finals now on Oct 1 in order to allow outstationed teams to reach their homes ahead of Ramazan.
The organizers first revised the draws after a number of teams pulled out. This also compelled them to delay the opening by a day.
Meanwhile, no arrangements have so far been made to clean the chairs and tables in the press enclosure.
