EOBI restrained: The Sindh High Court on Tuesday restrained the Employee Old-Age Benefit Institution from receiving contribution from a local university.

SHC’s division bench, comprising Justice Ghulam Rabbani and Justice Azizullah M Memon, was hearing a petition by Iqra University Asian Management Institute, seeking quashment of a demand notice by the EOBI.

They submitted that the trust is a registered welfare organization. The accounts of trust were frozen on May 13, 2003.
