Four women protesters bailed out


MULTAN, Sept 10: Four women protesters belonging to the opposition, who were arrested from the Kutchery Chowk on Friday, were granted bail on Saturday. Court officials said the women set at liberty on bail by judicial magistrate-cum-civil judge Haq Nawaz Chauhan were Ms Gulzar Arshad, Azra Wajid, Maqsooda Bibi and Begum B.A. Jigar.

The remaining 49 people had been sent to the district jail, the officials said.

The 53 people had been arrested by the Chehlyak and Delhi Gate police teams.—APP
