ISLAMABAD, Sept 7: Canada’s deputy prime minister will visit the country from Sept 14 to 17 in an effort to strengthen bilateral ties with Pakistan, especially those concerning the war on terrorism, a source in the interior ministry told Dawn on Monday.
During her visit Anne McLellan will discuss the issue of global terrorism at a marathon meeting with Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Sherpao and look at how Pakistan and Canada could counter the threat, the source said.
