LAHORE, Aug 29: Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) on Monday announced 40 players for the National youth camp for the selection of Pakistan Youth team. The PFF selection committee picked six goal-keepers, 16 defenders, 10 midfielders and eight strikers after the three-day trials at Punjab Stadium from Aug 26 to 28.

Former youth international Siddiq Sheikh (HBL), Muhammad Rasheed,who won the national title for Pakistan Railways in 1984, and PIA’s Zafar Iqbal, first-ever skipper of Pakistan in SAFF Championship’s history in 1993, will train the youth team.

Pakistani team will participate in AFC Youth championship qualifiers 2005 against Uzbekistan on Nov 23 and Tajikistan on Nov 25 at Dushanbe.
