PPL offers Rs2.6m in prize money

LAHORE, Aug 19: A record amount of Rs.2.6 million in prize money and winning bonus will be distributed among the teams and players competing in the ongoing second Pakistan Premier League (PPL) soccer.

The 132-match event offers Rs300,000 for the winner whereas runner-up to receive Rs200,000.

The third-placed team will pocket Rs100,000.

The Most Valuable Player will get Rs25,000 while leading marksman will pocket Rs20,000.

In addition, Rs19,80,000 will be distributed among participants as bonus.
