Seven wickets haul for Ehtesham

KARACHI, Aug 1: Off-spinner Ehtesham Shami captured seven wickets to spin Zone-VI Whites to a massive 162-run win over Zone-IV Greens in the opening match of the KCCA Under-17 Inter-zonal cricket championship at TMC ground on Sunday. Batting first, Zone-VI Whites made 238 in 48.2 overs with Wasim Ali making 49 with five boundaries.

Slow left-armer Kalimullah took four for 44 and Noman Alam two for 35. Ehtesham then proved unplayable when Zone-IV Greens took their turn at the crease. He finished with seven for 34 as the Greens crashed 76 all out in 35.1 overs.
