14-hour traffic disruption

By Our Correspondent

DERA GHAZI KHAN, July 6: The inter-provincial traffic remained suspended for about 14 hours due to heavy flood in a nullah located near Punjab-Balochistan border. Reports said the nullah (Rakni) swelled due to recent heavy rains disrupting the traffic on Tuesday. However, the traffic was partially restored on Wednesday. Meanwhile, a three-member team of a Japanese aid agency would reach here to widen the road from the city to the bordering town of Baiwata and to handle the traffic situation in collaboration with the National Highway Authority.
