Bus passengers looted

KHAIRPUR, July 4: Passengers of a Karachi-bound bus were robbed by six armed men near Therhi, on the National Highway on Sunday night. Reports said that six armed men travelling as passengers in the bus, coming from Shikarpur, controlled the passengers on gunpoint. They robbed cash, gold ornaments, mobile phones and other valuables from the passengers and escaped near Tando Masti.

BOOKED: Ranipur police have booked 44 villagers under section 7 ATA, 6ATA and 341, 325, 511 PPC on Monday for blocking road and staging demonstration on the National Highway near Ranipur.

Ghulam Shabbir, Ali Gohar, Deedar, Ghulam Hussain, Anwar, and others, all residents of Chakar Waryaso village, have been nominated in the FIR.
