Police team kidnapped

QUETTA, July 3: Some outlaws in Nasirabad district have abducted four police officials. Law enforcement agencies have launched an operation against the assailants. Police officials of Dera Murad Jamali on Sunday told Dawn on telephone that a police team was taking salaries of police officials to Chatter and other areas. When their pick-up reached Mukar area at 2.30pm, criminals stopped it and abducted the team.

The kidnapped personnel are Sub-Inspector Ghulam Asghar, Head Constable Ghulam Anwar, and constables Muhammad Rafiq and Dhani.

Police did not tell the actual amount of money the team was carrying.
