The London FTSE 100 index rose 0.19 per cent to 5,082.1 while in Paris the CAC 40 added 0.68 per cent to reach 4,222.02. The Frankfurt DAX closed at 4,608.11, a gain of 0.46 per cent from Monday.—AFP
