KARACHI: ‘Law, order satisfactory’

KARACHI, June 1: The Sindh interior minister on Wednesday said that the citizens extended full cooperation to the administration during the MMA-called strike and the overall law and order situation in the province remained satisfactory.

Rauf Siddiqui said that in Karachi 60 per cent shops remained open. He said that on Tuseday anti-social elements had ransacked public and private properties and hence a few markets and shops remained closed on Wednesday in the morning. However, they were opened in the afternoon. — PPI
