PSB to set up athletics camp

ISLAMABAD, May 17: The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) plans to have the men’s athletics camp in Islamabad that will have a strength of 65 athletes. The camp’s eventual goal will be in preparation for next March’s Commonwealth Games in Melbourne and also the South Asian Games in Colombo the following month.

“We will go for selective participation in Melbourne while there is going to be full attendance in Colombo,” Brig. Arif Mahmud Siddiqui, the director general of PSB said.

The men’s athletics camp that is to start in two days will run alongside women’s who are already preparing for this September’s Women’s Islamic Games in Tehran.
