Mohammad Ali shines


KARACHI, May 16: Mohammad Ali Naqvi produced a fine all-round show in Korangi Al-Fateh CC’s 50-run win over Pak Star CC in the KCCA Centenary Inter-club cricket tournament at the latter’s ground on Sunday. Ali took first made a fine 39 and then captured five wickets for only 10 runs to single-handedly guide his team home.

In another match Shaheen Gymkhana beat Dawn Sports by five wickets at the KDA Ground. Talha Leghari stood out with 76, which included 10 boundaries.

Korangi Al-Fateh cc beat Pak Star CC by 50 runs.

KORANGI AL-FATEH CC 159-8 in 40 overs (Mubashir Ahmed 41,M. Ali Naqvi 39, Kashif Habib 22; Sajid Khan 4-34, Arshad Azam 2-33); PAK STAR CC 109 in 31.5 overs (Arshad Azam 32, Salman Khan 22, Mohammad Bilal 22; M. Ali Naqvi 5-10, Anis Shaikh 2-21).
