Two killed in Lakki Marwat

LAKKI MARWAT, May 15: Two people were killed in a crossfire between two groups in Daulat Mir Lawangkhel village, sources said on Sunday. The victims, one each from the two groups, were identified as Taj Ali Khan, son of Mani Khan, and Farmanullah, son of Asmatullah.

Ghaznikhel police have registered cases against accused Shafiullah, son of Zarwali; Imranullah, son of Asmatullah; Sanaullah and Ikramullah, sons of Barkatullah; Samiullah, son of Muzzaffar; and Ihsanullah, son of Zaidullah from one side. From the other group, Sher Ali and Syed Ali, sons of Mani Khan; Gul Aslam, son of Watan Khan; Zabardast, son of Sarfaraz, and Dilbar Khan, son of Ghazi Marjan, have been booked.

Police arrested Shafiullah and Samiullah, and seized illegal weapons from their possession.

Meanwhile, a woman, Naeem Jana Bibi, wife of Rashid, was shot and injured by accused Majeed, son of Surat Khan, over a land dispute in village Tatta Bashikhel.
