Traffickers freed

SIALKOT, May 14: Two armed men got released as many human traffickers by shot injuring two FIA officials near Adalatgarha-Uggoki here on Friday night. Reports said Nazir Hussain and Sabir Hussain of FIA, Gujranwala raided a house in Adalatgarha and arrested human smugglers Qaisar and Abid. In the meantime, their two fellows opened fire, injuring the FIA men and got released Qaisar and Abid.

The injured were admitted to hospital in a critical condition.

Uggoki police and FIA have registered separate cases with no arrest.

New cantonment: The government has selected 3,000 acres for establishing a new army cantonment and 156 acres for Sialkot Cadet College in Pasrur tehsil.

This was statessd by Pasrur Tehsil Nazim Maqsood Sulehria while talking to the press here on Saturday.

He said the government would start acquiring the land next month by making payments to its owners.
