FAISALABAD, May 13: A new campus of the Government College University, Faisalabad, will be established on 600 acres near Chak Jhumra. Vice-Chancellor Dr Asif Iqbal told journalists on Friday that the allocation of Rs80 million for the promotion and modernization of the university campus was a proof that this institution was doing its job successfully.
He said some anti-student forces were spreading rumours for their ulterior motives, but the administration would continue its working for new courses and provision of facilities to students.
He said PhD programmes in Arabic, zoology and botany had been introduced in the university, besides M.Phil programmes.
