LAHORE, May 3: Fiery Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar said on Tuesday he was disappointed to be axed from the Pakistan squad for this month’s tour of the West Indies but vowed to stage a comeback. Selectors left out Shoaib and his new ball partner Mohammad Sami for not being fit for Pakistan’s three one-dayers and two Tests in the Caribbean. Sami may join for the Tests but there are no such hopes for Shoaib.—AFP
