TOBA TEK SINGH, May 3: The Tehsil Municipal Administration Engineering Department staff observed on Tuesday strike against alleged misbehaviour of Nazim Chaudhry Rafiq with the staff. They staged a sit in outside the tehsil Nazim’s office in a camp. They claimed that the Nazim insulted the staff without any reason.

When contacted, Mr Rafiq said in fact he had taken serious notice of the delay in completion of development schemes by the staff on which they went on strike.

Later, officers intervened and resolved the matter amicably.

CRUSHED: An unidentified man was crushed to death by a speeding train at here on Tuesday evening.

He was crossing the railway track the non-stop Karachi Express crushed him.
