DERA GHAZI KHAN, April 27: The ARD will remain united against the military government and none of its factions will make any compromise on sovereignty of parliament and restoration of the 1973 Constitution. This was stated by Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa, the PML-N Punjab organizer, at a news conference here on Wednesday.

He said the PML-N after coming into power would endorse and act upon those accords which the incumbent government had signed without putting the national pride and interests at stake.

Commenting on the recent visit of President Pervez Musharraf to India, he said “peace should not be acquired at the cost of national pride and dignity.”

He said his party was against the so-called enlightenment of Gen Musharraf, but was not in favour of men and women’s joint participation in marathons as it was against our religious norms.
